Abstract: SDP-2030 recognizes the significance of telecommunications as an underlying infrastructure for national development and considers that the development of telecommunication system is the best investments of Timor-Leste, especially in social and economic sense. This paper reviews the development of the national telecommunications sector and attempts to identify the challenges lying ahead.
