Abstract: This paper presents the effect of the parameters on combustion behavior of wood pellets in the boiler and other devices. We evaluate the influence of combustion parameters on the temperature, emissions, and efficiency of biomass combustion. Several papers regarding to the wood pellets combustion are collected and discussed based on the grate and combustion chamber size, combustion temperature, devolatilization rates, primary air flow rate and moisture content. It is shown that the grate and combustion chamber size, devolatilization rates, primary air flow rate, and moisture content have an influence on the temperature, emissions, and combustion efficiency of wood pellet combustion.
