Abstract : The interpretation of the crust based on current seismic wave data is important in considering the history of Timor-Leste and disaster prevention aspects in future active parts. We create a 3D distribution of earthquakes and a detailed b-value map by detailed calculation, and find a place where there is no seismic wave in the north-south section of Timor-Leste, and that part corresponds to the slab window below Wetar-Atauro Island. This slab window indicates cessation of subduction zone to collision of Australian Passive Margin. This northward reverse fault activity is occurring in the north of Wetar Island. This seismological study shows the current situation in Timor-Leste, and is expected to provide an important guidelines for estimating active faults and disaster prevention.
