FECT Building
On February 20, 2018, UNTL, in collaboration with JICA, held a preliminary launch ceremony for the construction project of the Faculty of Engineering, Science, and Technology building on the Hera campus. His Excellency the Prime Minister, Mr. Mari Alkatiri, symbolically launched the project.
On February 20, 2018, UNTL, in collaboration with JICA, held a ground-breaking ceremony for the construction project of the Faculty of Engineering, Science, and Technology building on the Hera campus. His Excellency the Prime Minister, Mr. Mari Alkatiri, symbolically broke ground for the project. The ceremony was attended by government officials, members of the National Parliament, representatives of the private sector, religious leaders, the local community, students, and faculty members from the National University of Timor-Leste. A total of approximately 300 people participated in the event.
This construction project is being carried out by two Japanese companies: Rinkai Nissan as the contractor and Yamashita Sekkei as the project supervisor. This building is scheduled for completion in July 2019.
