FECT Mechanical Engineering Students Partner with Authorities, Charismatic Groups, and the Nitibe Community to Construct New Chapel

The Faculty of Engineering, Science, and Technology (FECT), through its Department of Mechanical Engineering (DEM), carried out the Social Service Internship (ESS) program for one month, in collaboration with administrative authorities and local communities, and the Charismatic Holy Spirit Cathedral in Dili, to build the St. Vincent de Paul Chapel in the village of Mahata, Lelaufe Sub-district, Nitibe Administrative Post, Special Administrative Region of Oé-Cusse Ambeno (August 31).

The Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Professor Mario Marques Cabral, said that this activity represents a concrete implementation of the university’s mission, particularly in terms of serving the community.
