Community Service and Volunteering
Community Service and Volunteering
Community service and volunteer work at the School of Engineering are social activities that promote solidarity, responsibility, and student participation in community development. These activities include environmental cleanup, tree planting, health campaigns, support for vulnerable communities, and other social activities.
Through these activities, students learn to work together, develop leadership skills, and apply the knowledge they have gained in the classroom to help the community. In addition, volunteer service strengthens the relationship between the university and society, promotes social awareness, and fosters a culture of helping others. In this way, the Faculty of Engineering contributes to shaping students into responsible professionals who are supportive of others and ready to actively participate in the sustainable development of Timor-Leste.
