Abstract: Has been carried out ERT investigation in a Quaternary coral-reel limestone to identify the potential zone of surface collapse. Infiltration of acid rain water through the cavity may enlarge the subsurface fissure. The fissure itself filled with red-clay, and plug the outflow and formed ponding water. Obtained resistivity value up 15000 ohm-m reflected a fresh layer of coral-reef limestone. While, low to moderate value reflected the red clay on the surface and moist layer of limestone. At least three collapse zone were observed in the 3D model of ERT profile. This natural phenomena have been one of crucial geohazard that challenge the civil engineering prior to infrastructures construction. Therefore, it is highly recommended to involve geological and geophysical studies in a feasibility study for infrastructure development in karst areas in entire of country.
