Low Power SBSAL 4x4-bits Multiplier LSI Measurement

Abstract: Power consumption has become an issue in the recent advances in technologies, such as Internet of Things (IoT) devices. In this context, the author has proposed a low-power source biased semi-adiabatic logic (SBSAL) circuit using 0.18 µm CMOS process technology. The measurement result of 4x4-bits SBSAL multiplier LSI is presented in this paper. The energy dissipation of the proposed circuit is compared with other fundamental logic styles at 10 KHz-100 MHz dynamic frequency ranges for simulation and 1 KHz-10KHz for measurement.
