Abstract: The rainfall characteristics in ordinary and little rain years under current and future climates are analyzed by using the future climate database d4PDF. The data in d4PDF is corrected by comparison between its historical data and the observed one. After that, the rainfall in Dili, Timor Leste is analyzed on d4PDF. The yearly rainfall becomes half in little rain years which occurrence probability is once in 5 or 10 years, compare with the ordinary year under the current climate. Under the future climates, the yearly rainfalls don’t change evidently, however the rainfall increases in the wet season (from December to the next March) and decreases in the dry seasons (from May to October) about 10 %. The rainfall in April and May reduces in the little rain years under the future climate and the period of the dry season becomes longer.
