Abstract: The rainfall in Timor-Leste was evaluated in previous study by using a numerical weather model as the first approach to evaluate the potential of micro hydropower in this country. This current study is combining both simulation with Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model, and the river flow (m3) in the channel (m) in Seiçal River Basin is analyzed with Rainfall-Runoff-Inundation (RRI) model. The simulation with WRF reproduces well the following characteristics of climate related to rainfall in the target area; first, there are wet and dry seasons evidently, and second, there are strong rainfalls in the wet season. Next, the river flow (m3) in the channels (m) in Seiçal River Basin is simulated with RRI in the wet season by using the output of WRF simulation. In the model, the runoff river from the rainfalls by WRF to the channels (m) is evaluated and time series of the water level (m) of the flow (m3) in the channels (m) and their flow rate (m3/s) are simulated. The strong rainfall in the upstream of Seiçal River flows (m3) out into the river and accumulates as it moves downstream in the results of the RRI simulation. The using both WRF and RRI models, the river flow (m3) in the basin are simulated.
